Now that the Thanksgiving holiday is over, thoughts turn to Christmas.  For most of us, we have already been thinking of the gifts that we will give on Christmas day.  We are out looking for bargins, getting ready for Christmas get-togethers, and baking those oh-so-good christmas treats.  As the month continues, our time to do all the things we need to do gets smaller and smaller, and we can feel more rushed and rushed.  I want to encourage you to slow down and enjoy what Christmas is really all about.  In our busy-ness we can rush right past the manger which is fixed in time as our reason to celebrate.  Enjoy the holiday, but try not to lose focus in the rush!
